BORN

Born and raised in the beautiful city of Sevastopol on the Black Sea. Since early childhood I was engaged in water polo, same as my father did. By the end of high school I became a national league water polo goalkeeper.

Sevastopol National Technical University

I studied computer engineering in Sevastopol National Technical University. Won the scholarship to obtain Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees and became a Systems Engineer.

I played a prominent role in the faculty entertainment team and was engaged in professional sailing in RB Mistral Olympic class.

By the early 2000s digital workstations became widespread in the visualization industries and my deep understanding of computers and networks coupled with innate aesthetics feeling allowed me to land my first job in film and television industry while still being a student. Initially hired to Sevastopol Regional State TV and Radio Company (SRSTVRC) as an assistant director and video editor I had an opportunity to practice different roles and grew to directing live TV shows. Later I co-authored, directed and edited teen program “AMPer”.

Mountaineering and alpinism expeditions

By that time my father introduced me to the mountaineering. After participating in two alpinist expeditions in Central and Northern Caucasian mountain ranges I decided to move to Kyiv in pursuit of professional career in film and television.

Won $125K in the lottery & traveled to Nepal

Himalayan mountain range is marvelous! The trip I planned got extended upon the opportunity to study Buddhism from Tibetan lamas in Pokhara.
That journey showed me new perspective in understanding life and spirituality, charging me with the desire for further growth.
