ZIZINA El Mostakbal is a residential real estate project of ARDiC Developments in New Cairo, Egypt.
It’s marketing campaign “We Have Rules!” started on social media with fun and catchy banners. On which jesting rules were advertising various features of residential complex, like spacious apartments, infrastructure and renewables. My job was to transform some of the banners into playful animated videos in order to enhance the impact of the campaign.
I was provided with scripts, character pictures and branded materials, including music track. I applied my image manipulation skills to turn stock photographs into rigged assets. And filmed funny puppet animation, supported by motion design and occasional sound effects. At that stage all the commercials were delivered in both English and Arabic. And after making 4 such videos, I edited a compilation of several rules into one commercial to finalize the campaign.
The videos had such a big impact on social media, that client decided to further develop success of the campaign by launching the videos as TV commercials. I had experience of preparing materials for broadcasting and satisfied client’s needs by delivering in accordance with technical specifications of the networks.
